Judy Drew: Creating an Impression

Melbourne Fine Art is proud to present 33 pastel and charcoal works by one of Australia's finest women artists, Judy Drew.

Drew’s images are infused with an impressionist sensibility towards colour and form, working the medium of pastel to new limits. Her paintings speak for themselves, the sensitive and intimate portrayal of her subjects will no doubt further cement her growing reputation as one of Australia’s leading traditional artists.

Born in 1951, Judy graduated from Prahran College of Art in 1970. She has won numerous awards including the Omega Contemporary Art Prize and the Portrait Prize from Melbourne Savage Club. From 1976-1984, Judy lived and worked in Bougainville Island. Since returning to Melbourne her creative work along with her reputation has blossomed, where her work is in high demand from investors, galleries and private collectors.
